I wrote an article some time ago, "A Good Word About George Bush" (http://www.mwcnews.net/content/view/3044/26), that was, at the time, a satire. I'm not so sure it was, for what we've got now is just that aristocracy, an oligarchy, with pretty much everyone else improverished--and heading toward homelessness--and looking to live a life similar to Orwell's proles (1984). With the great majority of the population groveling for an existence, there is not much hope to be expected in the way of change or revolution, especially with the Army and the mercenaries on-call for "crowd control." The only people who could possibly rebel would be the disaffected lower upper class--and that would be no more than a change of masters, for they are simply after the power and privileges they're presently denied--or feel they are denied. So. . .Bush has handily accomplished every goal the rich and monied--so out of touch with real life--wished. They are virtually untouchable. They rule. And what do we do? Nothing: we hope.
