![]() Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, who is the Racist of them All It seems that Durban Anti-Racism Review Conference II that started last Monday April 20th in Geneva has concluded with the worthless ineffective declaration with 143 articles calling for the protection of vulnerable minorities, and urging states to combat impunity for crimes of genocide. It also named “neo-Nazi, neo-Fascism, and other violent national ideologies” as dangers that need to be combated. These are routine calls that are not new and are known to every state. More like Durban I there were no solutions, no action plans, no regulations, no laws, and no remedial and preventative measures to racism, discrimination and xenophobia.
The real reasons for the leaders of these countries boycotting the Durban Conference is their unwillingness to look in the mirror and face their own dark records of racism and discrimination, their inability to show real improvement in their anti-racist and anti-discriminatory records, and most importantly their inability to totally control and manipulate the Conference and its outcome to serve their own interest in suppressing the growing anti-racist movement. The fate of the black communities of flooded New Orleans in 2005, and the Los Angeles riots of 1992 show the ugly face of the American racism and discrimination. When asked to identity themselves a majority of the Americans would use racist terminology such as African American, Latino American, British American, Arab American, Jewish American and so on. Canadians are similar to the Americans; they are originally European occupiers, who dispossessed the indigenous people; the First Nations of Canada. There is also discrimination between the main two occupiers of Canada; French and English. Since Israel is described as a Jewish state (absolute racism), it follows that Israeli Jews enjoy special rights which Palestinians and all other Goyim are denied. Israeli Supreme Court recognizes two operational judicial systems in Israel; one for Jews and the other for Palestinians, where laws could be created and modified right on the spot to penalize Palestinians, and to deprive them from the simplest civil and human rights.

1. 27-04-2009 09:51 Arabists - racists aught to be ashamded describing Israeli Jews / Hebrews' fear of racist-arab terror as "racist". This anti Jewish racism of categorizing each Arab bigoted attack on Jews as "freedom fighting" and each defensive action by Israeli Jews as "racist", has got to stop. [The same person, with different name, writes the following. Moderator.] So, Are Arabs gonna keep on lying that they are "natives" in the historic land of The Jews? (remember that most Arabs who call themselves as "palestinians" since the 1960's are children or grandchildren of Arab IMMIGRANTS, SETTLERS. And what is the entire conflict of Arabs, Muslims VS Israel if not plain racism for the non-Arab, non-Muslim pluralistic DEMOCRACY, Israel in a sea of Islamo Arab hatred? I also like how the bigoted Arab writer writes about the (mainly-by) Arab crime of slavery and pinning it on non-Arabs. Guest 2. 28-04-2009 00:32 As is usual from Palestinian writers, this article ranges from vastly inaccurate to outright lies. The supposed quotes calling for Palestinian genocide are fabricated, as is all reference to killing of Russians by Jews. It is a well known fact that Russian Jews were subjected to massive pogroms and thousands left the country as a result. All of Israel\'s wars with neighbors began with Arab aggression - including the Cast Lead operation in Gaza. The Holocaust (there is only one, the others are genocides, but not holocausts) is a very well documented event, contrary to the authors beliefs - and other than idiots like the author there is neither doubt no denial thereof. The only point with which I agree is that Israel is described as a Jewish state. However I remind the author that Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc are all described as Muslim states and all have far less tolerance for other religions than does Israel who do not discriminate against any ethnic group. Guest 3. 28-04-2009 17:44 It is strange that when somebody points to documented truths, like Dr. Akleh in this article, they are attacked ferociouly by pro-Zionists. They try to kill the messenger rather than understand the message. People can read the documents and can make up their own minds. As for "Muslim States", they are called so by the Western politicians and media and the name spread around. citizens of these countries discribe themselves as Saudis, Jordanian, Egyptians ..etc first. They have accepted all other religions including (alas)Judaism. Read their Quran that is full of phrases acknowledging Judaic and Christian prophets and stating that their God and the Muslim's God is the same. Present Palestinian Arabs are the original inhabitants of Palestine. They were the Cananites and many of them the Arab Jews who converted later to Christianity and Islam, who became the Arab Palestinians referred to the geographical area they are living in (Palestine). If you have lived in occupied Palestine (Israel) like me, you would have recognized that Israel is prejudiced against all non-Jews, and even against different sects of Jewish Israelis; eastern Jews vs western Jews, Yemenites Jews, who went out in demonstrations for being thrown in desert communities unlike the western Jews who were given villas in major cities. Aslo fundamental extremist religous Jews discriminate against women and force them to ride at the rear of the bus, similar to what US had done to the blacks. Israel is the mother of racism and people around the world know it no matter how Zionists try to hide it, that is why delegates of both Durban conference singled out Israel for racism Guest 4. 05-05-2009 02:35 George, there is no such discrimination between Jews. You are a liar. The only tension is between the religious and the secular. The bus separation of which you speak is not discrimination but a segregation to maintain modesty between men and women. Unlike honor killings, female circumcision, the enforced wearing of burqas, travel restrictions, work restrictions and a myriad of other abuses imposed on women in the Arab and Muslim worlds. And "Dr. Akleh"? Even his biblical quotes are erroneous and he very clearly misinterpreted from a fundamental point what the bible says. And George, if you can show me an example of where I attacked "Dr. Akleh" instead of his view points, I will gladly recant. The Canaanites were NOT the "Palestinians" of today. They were idolaters, and obviously did not have the "same G-d". As for Arab tolerance of other religions? Don't make me laugh. The infighting amongst Muslims is horrific. You speak of so-called demonstrations by Jews who are being discriminated against... this is hardly comparable to the manner in which Sunni and Shi'ite Muslims are massacring each other in Iraq (or is this just another Zionist fabrication). Guest 5. 05-05-2009 02:45 6. 05-05-2009 13:50 Bible quotes First I tried following Joeishere link \"Tirade Against Israel\" and it led to nowhere. the parent web site is camera.org, and when you look at it you would read only Israeli bias propaganda and falsifications. No doubt it is manned by fundamental Zionists like joeishere. As for Akleh\'s bible misquotes I found only two error in his references, that could easily be misprint. First he refers to jealous god in Exodus 20:5 actually this is Exodus 34:14 that says: \"... for the lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous god\".There are also other references in the old testament inferring that Israel\'s god is a jealous god. Second: Akleh\'s reference to god\'s orders to the Israelites to commit fratricide (Exodus 3:27-28) is actually in Exodus 32: 27-28, which states: Thus says the lord god of Israel, let every man put his sword on his side and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the (Israelite) camp and let every man kill his brother, every man his cmpanion, and every man his neighbor. 28 - so the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses, and about 3000 men of the people (Israelites) fell that day I find the god of the Israelites in the old testament so murdering, blood thirsty, and greedy god. His so-called prophets such as Moses had commited grievious genocides first against the egyptians who welcomed the Israelites in their midst, and against the inhabitants of the middle eastern region. These false prophets are actually satan\'s messengers of death and destruction. People who read the old testament with open eyes recognize this fact. Guest 7. 05-05-2009 14:10 discrimination against women joeishere is so hypocrate when claiming that there is no discrimination between Jews and against Jewish women. He claims it is "segregation to maintain modesty between men and women". Discrimination against women in Israel is wide spread. It even exits between some fundamentalist Jews who live in New York suburbs, where women have to walk on the other side of the street away from men, and they have to cover their hair or wear wigs, and cover their arms and legs. This is no different than wearing burgas or other form of oppressing women. Discrimination between different Jewish groups is not just between the religious and the secular, it is also between eastern and western Jews, and between different sects of Judaism. face the truth. Guest 8. 06-05-2009 06:05 9. 06-05-2009 06:17 discrimination against women Joan, if you aren't going to read the commentaries or any of the passages before or after the extract then don't bother quoting. I could do the same with the new testament or the koran and extract lovely quotes with no context and use them in any manner that suits me. I won't argue these points with you as it would be futile, you don't know enough about the texts themselves. Rachel: There is a difference between "modesty" and "brutality". It's quite obvious, if you perform a dictionary lookup on each of those terms I'm sure that you will be able to understand. Covering legs and arms, and hair if a Jewish woman is married is modesty. Being lashed and/or shot by the Taliban for being a woman and laughing in public, or not covering every part of your body (even the eyes) is brutality. Another difference is free will. If a woman in Israel (or New York, I bring that up because you did) chooses not to adhere to Orthodoxy, that is her choice and she is not discriminated against. Women in Israel are allowed to work, as in every other democratic country. Israel has had a female prime minister and many, many other female members of parliament. Tzipi Livne (a woman) won the highest percentage of votes in the last Israeli election - in which MEN were voting also. Doesn't sound too discriminatory to me. Guest Write Comment
