Yasser Arafat formed the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in an attempt to liberate the Palestinians from what he perceived as gross injustices and persecution. Israel’s occupation of Palestinian lands and oppressive tactics facilitated the Palestinians to embrace their common language, culture and history and to regain their rights. Israel’s oppressive policies forged a Palestinian national identity.

California Assemblyman Chuck DeVore first announced his ardent support for nuclear power a little over a year ago, when he introduced a bill to allow new nuclear power plants in the state.  He hardly knew a thing about nuclear power back then, made a fool of himself, and the bill was defeated.

I am a concerned Canadian resident and I pray that my message reaches the heart of sensible and honest executives at Eutelsat [satellite broadcaster of New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV)]. I am writing about the fact that Eutelsat is closing the broadcasting of NTDTV to China and canceling the contract unilaterally.
